Barcelona’s Camp Nou Record Sends Strong Warning to Feyenoord
Barcelona begin their 2026/27 Champions League campaign against Feyenoord at Camp Nou, with history firmly on their side.
Barça are unbeaten in 10 previous home matches against Dutch opposition, winning seven and drawing three. They have scored 31 goals and conceded just seven.
That record stretches back almost six decades.
Feyenoord Know the Camp Nou Challenge
Barcelona first hosted Dutch opposition in 1965/66, destroying DOS Utrecht 7-1.
Feyenoord have also visited Camp Nou before. In the 1974/75 Cup Winners’ Cup, Barça produced a convincing 3-0 victory.
The Dutch side will now hope to avoid another difficult night in Barcelona.
PSV and Ajax Provide Different Stories
Not every Dutch club has left Camp Nou empty-handed.
AZ Alkmaar secured a 1-1 draw in 1977, while PSV Eindhoven suffered a 3-1 defeat in the second leg of their 1978 UEFA Cup tie. However, PSV had already won the first leg 3-0.
Ajax, meanwhile, did not face Barcelona at Camp Nou until 2013.
Barça marked the occasion with a 4-0 win, followed by a 3-1 victory the following season and another 4-0 triumph in 2018/19.
Can Feyenoord Break the Pattern?
Barcelona’s record is clear:
10 games. 7 wins. 3 draws. 31 goals scored. 7 conceded.
Feyenoord now have the opportunity to rewrite that history.
But once the Champions League begins, past records will count for little. Flick’s side must deliver on the night if they want to start their European campaign with three points.
